Dev Zx-81's PPSSSH is a homebrew application which lets you connect to your PC from far away. Once you have Wi-fi with you, you can use your PSP to access your PC remotely using commands and run scripts.
The previous build had improved character support. What are the changes for version 1.1.1? Foremost is the compatibility with the 3.80 or 3.90 custom firmwares. There are also some bug fixes for performance improvements. Here is the changelog straight from zx-81:
* Fix IR keyboard issue with fw >= 3.80 for FAT PSP
* It has been tested successfully tested on:
o SLIM 3.90-m33
o FAT 3.90-m33
o FAT 1.5 (addon for 3.90-m33)
* Increaze heap memory for fw3.x
* Code cleaning
Coder Zx-81 notes that PSPSS version 1.1.1 can be particularly useful for Linux users who would want to access their server from anywhere.
How is this possible? PSPSSH version 1.1.1 is based on a small SSH2 server and client. That SSH2 stands for Secure Shell, a network protocol that allows data to be exchanged between two computers.
